I just got done listening to the EP1 podcast - not bad, it has quite the potential. I think Garrett, Chris and Dan really participated well in the talk and gave some insightful conversation regarding their preferences on movies. Nolan didn't participate a lot, and when he did he didn't say much that actually added to the conversaiton. I think he needs to be more articulate in describing his opinions and try to stay away from meaningless interjections in the conversation - it drives the talk off topic unnecessarily. I think the round table format suits the style and focus of the podcast well and I look forward to EP2. Now that the introductions and general views on movies are out of the way - It will be interesting to hear the group dive into more in-depth dicussion on particular films. Good job guys.

You guys are amazing critics. So I want to ask your opinion on the Saw movies. I think they just need to be done with the series. Jigsaw is freaking dead. no need to keep going with the movies. Anyways, I look forward to future posts and broadcasts. Rock on my brother and his friends!!!!

Well Deana, i mean Anaed, I am totally with on this. I loved the first Saw movie, the second one was not very good but I liked the twist at theend and the whole father son thing. The third one went even further downhill but tied things up quite nicely and I still enjoyed and was pleased with the overall story of the three. The fourth Saw is the last one I bothered watching. The story just got way to convoluted and started to contradict continuity. The new bad guy wasn't interesting and the deaths less imaginative.
The Saw series needs to stop and enjoy what it was, even Freddyand Jason movies really started to lose their punch even while continuing to have gore and violence. It can only take you so far and with Saw, the car stopped three films ago.
Dan, Garrett, Nolan...what do you guys think?

The first two SAWS were fine, sufficient to stay my mind and as well as my "No, Shit?!" aspect. However, via the conclusion of 3rd, I slipped into an "uh... ok, whatever" condition. Thus, all and all I imagine they ought to of closed at the 2nd, Nevertheless the squeaking by of the 3rd. By the 4th you've entirely departed moreover the distances. Trust they did not fracture the reins or it will evolve into something inferior to what it betrays it self to be. Most like the avalanche acknowledged as the "Land before Time", that is to this day, diminishing along the peak.
