Shpadoinkle AHHHHH!!!!!!!

WOW! There sure have been a lot of updates recently, there's even a new podcast episode up exactly one week later! I'll try not to make a habit of this.

Download the new episode here!

Introduction 0:00 - 35:23
First, we do some serious housecleaning. We tackle one of our listener's ridiculous, and tough, questions. Then, our "What's New" segment starts a huge debacle when we review the new movie Boondock Saints 2: All Saints Day. Finally, to close the introduction we do something we should have doing all along....we discuss the poll that's up on the website. Of course, in grand tradition, nothing is ever as simple as it should be.

Liar, Liar 35:23 - 45:16
The first review this week is a modern comedy classic, 1997's Liar, Liar starring Jim Carrey. This is such a renowned movie that this is less a review as an all around appraisal of the film, complete with quotes and misqoutes.

Cannibal! The Musical 45:16 - 1:09:00
What more can be said about this movie than we say here? A lot! Musings and ramblings abound when we discuss this milestone in awesomely bad comedies courtesy of Trey Parker and Matt Stone! Seriously, if you don't own or haven't seen this movie and like ANYTHING by the South Park guys you owe it to yourself. Seriously!

Closing 1:09:00 - 1:12:50
After all the hilarity that has ensued, what is the best way to end this episode? Threaten you with another! We tell you to send those emails, leave those comments, and join us next time for John Wayne's The Quiet Man.

Found a question and answer section between Matt Brown of The Observer and Troy Duffy regarding the differences between Saints 1 & 2. Duffy's answer blows my mind.

++++++++++++++++++++++
Matt Brown: Going into the second one, you said you can’t just do the first one again. What were some ways you tried to differentiate or change it a little to give it that difference?

Troy Duffy: Female lead. Period piece flashbacks to 1950s New York to explain Il Duce’s history as a killer. Technically what you want to do is throw a huge curveball story that they could never see coming. But you have to give them everything they love from the first movie. A sequel is a chance to have your cake and eat it too, but you have to take big risks. Those are all ways in which we threw curveballs at the audience.

Seriously, he thought that the two movies were that different?

This one is definitely in favor of the movie, much like Nolan's POV.
