While I continue working on editing the newest episode of The Everyman Critics I tend to puruse the web quite a bit.
First, I just want to inform everyone that I AM a Tim Burton fan (long live Pee-Wee's Big Adventure!) and I AM a Johnny Depp fan (totally awesome movies to numerous to list). So, what could possibly be better than a new Tim Burton film or a new Johnny Depp film? A new Tim Burton film starring Johnny Depp!! Yes I know that they are always doing movies together but you know what?, I don't care. I have enjoyed then all (especially the often overlooked masterpiece Ed Wood) and I have been looking forward to their newest collaboration since I first heard about it this past summer.
That brings me to the point of this post.

Dude, didn't know that it was a sequel and not a remake. I will see it now that it's not in my mind as "great another sequel".
It's disney....that means it won't be as dark as Alice in wonderland is meant to be....
Garret - True that it won't be as dark as it could or should be but because it's Tim Burton it will still be awesome. Besides, the darkness will come whenever Marilyn Manson finishes Phantasmagoria!

after seeing this trailer i can't say that i'm really to interested in seeing this movie. actually this hasn't really interested me since the first trailer i saw. i enjoy most tim burton/johnny depp movies, but this one just isn't striking a chord with me. maybe i'm just burned out on johnny depp.
now i'm really looking forward to phantasmagoria though even though it's about the life of lewis carroll not necessarily alice in wonderland.
